Working on the Samford Valley home
Read README.md, docs/PROJECT-CONTEXT.md, docs/REQUEST-HISTORY.md and the latest decision record before editing.
-
Current model: blender/samford-solarpunk-container-water-tour.blend, version 005.
-
The table-tennis deck was explicitly removed. Do not restore it from older scenes.
-
Future child/dwelling pavilions remain ghost outlines. The one built small pavilion is a meditation room.
-
Preserve the detailed kitchen, reading library, bedroom sleep setup, sauna, shower, solar, tanks, Starlink, homelab, Tesla garage, training and food-growing features.
-
Keep new layout geometry, plan coordinates, fast display copies, tour cameras and captions consistent.
-
Blender collections: DETAIL is full editable render geometry; FAST TOUR is the simplified viewport. A hidden DETAIL collection can have stale matrix_world values during scripting; explicitly construct transforms or evaluate the collection before applying them.
-
Incremental source scripts depend on particular prior models. Do not run the whole script history against the current scene; it would duplicate or misplace geometry. Read each script and choose its expected starting model first.
-
Validate saved .blend content and inspect actual renders before claiming a scene edit is finished.
-
Store a dated decision and a Git commit for intentional revisions. Preserve earlier model versions unless a cleanup is explicitly requested.
-
Marcus authorised making the repository, working files and design context public. The separate website gallery contains selected images and concept notes.
-
This is an illustrative, unsurveyed concept. Do not label materials, engineering, equipment loads, costs or property compliance as verified when they are not.
-
No need to create Linear issues unless Marcus explicitly asks.
-
Current water storage is a container-style enclosure with two sealed internal tanks. Do not restore the old exposed cylinders from earlier scene files.
