Marcus asked for the bed to be integrated into the wall rather than stand as free furniture, so it stays rigid and quiet in use. Recorded as a requirement with the detailing and the load-path caveat; the bedroom scene still shows a free-standing bed and is unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

# Wall-integrated bed
Marcus asked that the bedroom bed be built into the wall rather than stand as
free furniture, so that it stays rigid and quiet in use instead of rocking,
creeping across the floor or knocking against the lining.
Requirement for the Blender bedroom and for eventual builder documentation:
- Bed platform fixed to the bedroom wall framing, not a free-standing frame on legs.
- Load carried into the wall structure and the floor, so the bed cannot slide or rack.
- Head end hard against the wall, with no separate headboard able to knock the lining.
- Detailed for quiet: isolate the mattress platform from the wall sheeting and avoid
metal-on-metal fixings that develop a creak.
- Keep under-bed and bedside access for the Eight Sleep hub cabling and for cleaning.
- Retain the existing sleep setup: Eight Sleep Pod cover, ventilated bedside hub,
indoor/outdoor air conditioning, lined blackout curtains, timber and linen finishes.
Not yet modelled. The bedroom scene still shows a free-standing bed; fold this
into the next bedroom revision along with the chapter 08 camera framing.
Concept-stage note: the wall framing, fixings and load path for a cantilevered or
wall-hung platform have not been engineered. A builder or engineer has to confirm
the wall can take it before this is treated as buildable.
